Law::
1. civil disobedience – erroneously and unabashedly back-translated into Persian verbatim (by an unknown ignorant translator, apparently with a broadcast media in Tehran) in 1979 as نافرمانيهاي مدني that is totally unmeaning and nonsensical in Persian, in part because of the adjective مدني that does not collocate with نافرماني in Persian, and that should best be avoided in favor of the much better equivalent مبارزة منفي. that has long since existed in Persian and that makes perfect sense equally to the man in the street, and to the intellectual. The erroneous back-translation has since persisted and gained currency in Iran solely due to the ignorance of editors with the Iranian print and broadcast media of the correct Persian equivalent for the English that existed in Persian long before they became editors. 2. passive resistance
